If you don't have one, you can buy one from digital camera shop When you get home load the photos from your digital camera onto your PC. Use your word processor and insert each photo taken on your outing into a new document, followed by several lines for your kid to write on. Then print out that document using a printer. If you need a printer or printing supplies, check out printer shop Now give the printed document to your kids. Let them write about their outing. Ask them questions about the outing. Let them write whatever they want to describe the story on each page. They may even draw pictures beside the photo. Just let them express themselves. If they can spell the words, fine. If not, then help them along. Another of the craft ideas for kids I've tried is the spelling bee. I use that to teach my kids their spelling for their weekly spelling test in school. Simply take photos of items that represent the words in the spelling test. Upload the photos into your computer and put them in a document. Print out the document and have your kids write the word beside each photo. If they get the words right, let them cut out the photo and word and paste it in a scrapbook. At the end of the month, let them flip through their scrapbook to revise their spelling words. Enjoy! These are craft ideas for kids that are educational and fun. When they are done, staple the completed sheets together to form their story book. They can keep these book and show them off to friends and family. They can even give some of their books to grandma and grandpa. Let them do what they want with their works of art.
